What is NavShelf?

NavShelf is a free, open-source web navigation manager that organizes your bookmarks like a file system. It helps you manage hundreds of saved links with a clean, intuitive interface.

Why We Built It

Browser bookmarks haven’t evolved much in 20 years. They’re flat, hard to search, and impossible to organize at scale. We wanted a tool that:

  • Works like Windows Explorer for your web links
  • Stores data locally (privacy first)
  • Supports multiple languages out of the box
  • Works offline without any server
